Lovely Lehua Orchids

Dec. 5, 2014 [update]: We’re so glad we got the Paph. Fairly Sauced! It’s bloomed with amazing flowers and we have one more spike developing!

 

Nov. 24, 2014: We recently started toying with the idea of collecting Paph. fairrieanum plants and hybrids with very strong fairrieanum influence. It just so happened, Lehua Orchids was offering up Paph. Fairly Sauced (Sorcerer’s Stone ‘Yellow Magic’ x fairrieanum fma bohlmannianum [album]) with double spikes. We jumped at the opportunity.

While we were at it, we took the opportunity to pick up another Paph. spicerianum to add to our collection.

It’s very interesting to see the difference in size between this plant and the other spicerianums we already have
